We have been working hard to overhaul our service delivery model to improve client accessibility and our capacity to meet rising demand during the Cost of Living Crisis.
You can contact us via our website or access triage telephone advice directly on freephone 0808 278 7892 Tuesdays to Thursdays 10am – 3pm.
What we can help with
- Benefits – help with all benefits, establishing entitlement, supporting application and resolving issues. We have in-house Universal Credit specialist and benefits caseworkers available for telephone and face-to-face advice
- Debt & budgeting advice –support with debt emergencies, renegotiating repayments, creating financial statement, prioritising debts.
- Employment– help with redundancy, unfair dismissal, grievances, flexible working and more
- Cost of Living Crisis -foodbank referrals, emergency vouchers, tailored household support grant advice
- Housing – homelessness, eviction, tenancy problems
- Consumer – problems with fuel bills, mobile, disputes with tradespeople
- Family – divorce, relationship breakdown, powers of attorney
Pre-booked telephone and face-to-face appointments are available with generalist and specialist advisers in Seaford on Mondays and in Newhaven Tuesdays to Thursdays. Face-to-face appointment availability due to return in Lewes in September, in the meantime telephone appointments remain available on Fridays.
We have also extended our drop-in advice provision with new outreach services – no appointment necessary:

- Bishopstone Station – First Monday of the month 12-2pm (term-time only)
- Denton Island Community Centre – Mondays (except first of the month)11-1.30pm (term-time only)
- Telscombe Civic Centre – Last Tuesday of the month 10.30am – 12.30am
- Peacehaven Community Supermarket – Thursdays 11-1.30pm (term-time only)
- Seahaven Storehouse Foodbank – Thursdays 12-2pm for information and assist with referrals to the foodbank.
- Newhaven Baptist Church – 9.30-12 (term-time only)
